UPDATE: Sechelt will be holding an information meeting for those parties interested in submitting an Expression of Interest on Wastewater Project Solutions that will meet Sechelt’s current and future treatment needs. Attendance at this information meeting will not be mandatory.

Sechelt’s vision is to be a leader in the adoption of effective wastewater treatment technologies for the long term benefit of the residents of Sechelt.
Qualified companies are invited to submit Expressions of Interest on Wastewater Project Solutions that will meet Sechelt’s current and future treatment requirements.
This RFEI is the first stage in a process that will lead to the selection of an optimal technical solution for effective and sustainable treatment and processing of sewage for Sechelt. The project submissions will address sewage treatment and biosolids processing options that will meet the projected flows for the next 20 years including any expansion requirements. This RFEI is not an agreement to purchase goods or services.
Sechelt is not bound to enter into a Contract with any Respondent. Sechelt will be under no obligation to receive further information, whether written or oral, from any Respondent.
Sealed responses clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with the words “E2012-01 Wastewater Treatment Technologies” should be submitted to:

Amendment: Electronic copy (1) must be received by the advertised Closing Time and Date. Accompanying paper copies (2) received in an envelope with a postmark of not later than February 15, 2012 will be accepted.

The District of Sechelt reserves the right to consider only those submissions that serve the best interests of the District of Sechelt or to reject any or all submissions. The Municipality will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of the RFQ submission.
